The Challenge
Nikwax wanted to spread the word about its brand new Formulated For Adventure campaign, believing that adventure should be a mix of whatever activity feels right for you. The brief: show that everyone can get outside and enjoy adventures on their own terms, while highlighting Nikwax as a kitbag essential for staying dry.
The Strategy
To bring the idea to life, we teamed up with outdoor creators who live and breathe adventure. They each got to spin a branded activity wheel that decided their challenge, whether that was a muddy trail run, a scenic hike, a breezy bike ride, or a snowball fight. It was the perfect way to showcase the practical side of Nikwax while inspiring their audiences.
The creators were each gifted Nikwax products and partner gear from Cotopaxi, Passenger, Hydro Flask, LifeStraw, and Osprey and tasked with creating short videos and images of their adventure. The campaign also included a competition, giving one lucky follower the chance to win a Nikwax Adventure Kit, boosting engagement and extending reach.
The Results
The campaign delivered a wave of content celebrating accessible adventure. It put Nikwax front and centre as the go-to brand for staying dry and comfortable, while inspiring thousands of people to get outside a make an adventure of their own.
